Created in collaboration with dance collective Small Stage. This is one of the first digital-first show cases created by Small Stage during the pandemic.
For us in this project, love means more than just romantic love. Love is the connections we have to one another on all sorts of levels. During the pandemic this connection has been more important than ever–we wanted to highlight the love that was happening inside everyone's little bubbles and how it overflows the city.

I designed a paper maquette of Vancouver and hearts pouring out of a letter to represent our resilience, life, and the potential waiting grow when life after the pandemic becomes a reality.
Featuring Science World, Woodward's original W, Harbour Center, Vancouver Public Library, and Lion's Gate Bridge.
Over 300 paper hearts were laser cut and glued on to a wire mesh structure. A total of over 45 hours of assembly were required for the paper file building and assembly alone.
