This illustration is a homage to the Black Lives Matter movement. The title White On Black refers to the injustices Black people have faced in society made for their oppressors. To make all lives matter, we have to start with Black lives. All lives don't matter until Black lives do.
White On Black has been used by Collective Brewing on their beer packaging for their Amplified Voices–a series of limited-edition art that challenges the status quo, featuring artists and artwork that convey a sense of hope for a safer and more inclusive future.
