Chairman Ting Industries Inc. is a boutique illustration and design studio based in Vancouver’s West End, led by husband-and-wife duo Carson Ting and Denise Cheung. With a background as a former advertising director at some of the world’s top agencies, Carson brings a wealth of creative expertise to the studio. His work has received international recognition from prestigious organizations including Cannes Lions, The One Show, London International Advertising Awards, New York Festivals, Communication Arts, The Clios, and The Webbys, among others.
In 2026, Carson Ting was selected as the official FIFA artist representing Canada for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
My Role
I had the opportunity to work closely with Carson for four years, taking on a multidisciplinary role of studio manager, assistant illustrator, and designer. My responsibilities ranged from quoting and client management to coordinating on-site project setups and sourcing specialized machinery. Creatively, I led design projects and assisted with illustration work, including painting at live events and mural engagements.
During my time at Chairman Ting, I collaborated directly with a diverse range of clients, including Snoop Dogg’s 19 Crimes partnership, Simon Fraser University, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Kabam, Red Bull, Dairy Farmers of Canada, Splunk, the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Ottawa Senators, Porsche, and more.
