Overview
Whitecaps FC partnered with Chairman Ting to create the piece, commemorating Vancouver's nightly 7 pm ovation for healthcare workers, emergency responders, and other frontline heroes.
The scene features B.C.'s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and ASL interpreter Nigel Howard, alongside local figures including Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, and Steve Nash.
100% of proceeds from every print went to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, with prints generously donated and printed by Hemlock Printers. The initiative was extended further through a collaboration with Phillips Brewing, producing a limited-edition craft brew to honour frontline heroes and raise additional funds.
The Results
The campaign has helped raise over $150,000 for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Whitecaps sold more than 500 prints within the first eight hours alone, raising over $25,000 that day, including a $10,000 donation from B.C.-based NUTRL Vodka for one art piece.
The piece garnered widespread media coverage across outlets like Daily Hive, Global News, MLS Soccer, and The Canadian Press.
