New Momentum, Klir Direction
Klir is a SaaS company that helps wastewater and drinking water utilities navigate compliance with confidence across North America and Oceania.
Created in close collaboration with marketing, product design, and leadership, this brand refresh revitalizes the existing identity while staying true to Klir’s core values of making water better. The updated system brings greater clarity, energy, and focus—reflecting the platform’s promise to deliver meaningful digital transformation for its users.
This project included the creation of a new website, custom iconography, Google Slides templates, social media assets, sales sheets, white papers, guides, and more. All the designs were consolidated into a new brand guideline to ensure consistency and alignment across both internal and external teams.
The Brief
Klir's product is revolutionizing water industry compliance management, but its brand identity hasn't kept pace. Legacy elements from the company's early days projected a conservative image aimed at a traditional audience, misaligned with Klir's cutting-edge technology. The brand needed to evolve: shedding its dated aesthetic for a bold, innovative identity that matched the transformative power of its product.
My Role
As Klir's Brand Design Manager, I led a cross-departmental branding project spanning marketing, product design, customer support, and leadership teams. Through discovery sessions with each department, I mapped their goals, constraints, and use cases to ensure the visual identity served real organizational needs. I provided creative direction for the website redesign in partnership with Zabal Media and designed all remaining brand assets in-house, with input from the marketing team.
