Overview

The original Seek Wonder illustration launched Arts Umbrella's new campaign — appearing on their website, direct mailers, and as public ads installed across Vancouver and Granville Island.

For the brand's top donors, we reformatted the illustration into a custom keepsake: a limited run of only 75 traverse trays, laser-cut into Baltic birchwood and finished with a smooth corian exterior, hand-built by local craft studio Willow & Stump.

Each tray was hand-assembled, numbered, and signed, then wrapped in custom-designed tissue paper. Alongside the trays, custom chocolate wrappers were produced for a donor gift tie-in with Kasama Chocolates.

The Results

The project extended a single campaign illustration across an entire donor touchpoint ecosystem — from public street ads down to a hand-crafted, individually numbered keepsake object. The tray's blend of illustration, laser-cut woodwork, and considered packaging gave Arts Umbrella's top donors a tactile, collectible thank-you that reflected the organization's own creative mission, while reinforcing the Seek Wonder campaign's reach well beyond its original digital and print placements.
